It's a boy!
Note: This is not the baby my cousin gave birth to. It is my big fur baby Saffie-chops.
A beautiful baby boy came into our family weighing 7lbs 14oz in the early hours Saturday 19 January. No name as yet, though his big sister insists that he should be called Alicia as she has been expecting a baby girl all this time! Can't wait to put a ridiculous amount of photos of his smooshable face all over this blog, but as his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins are all overseas I want to make sure they all receive their photos via email etc and see him before I put anything on my little corner of the web...
A baby! so exciting. The Rooster said "when we met you said that you had a tiny family and in nearly five years there's been four babies".
Thanks to my gorgeous cousins we've almost doubled!

Congratulations!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have 4 boys, boys are fun!!
I see you're on Instagram... What is that all about... ?? I've thought about giving it a go, but I don't know a thing about it...
I only joined Instagram (or IG as people in the know say!) late last year. I'm finding it a lot of fun. It's pretty much micro blogging through photos. Quite addictive. More people I know seem to be joining it now. I think there has been a slight move away from Facebook as your feed is full of general pictures and statuses that people you know have "liked". So sick of "My Mum says I can get a puppy if I get 1 million likes..."!!
DeleteInstagram (although owned by Facebook) doesn't at present have any adds or recommendation type content so it seems a little more authentic. Give it a go! You can make your feed private and only accept people you know to view your photos if you like.
big boy
ReplyDeleteYes- especially as my cousins new babe came out posterior. Ouch!
DeleteCongrats on the new arrival. Exciting news for your family.
ReplyDeleteI am a dog person - so I am liking your photo of your Saffie-chops.
She's such an old girl now that I almost feel compelled to make sure I have pictures of her 'just in case". We can't all live forever unfortunately...
DeleteWhat is that weight for those of us who were born after 1966?
