A gift for a babe

This was supposed to be a quick gift. Hmph! My own fault- should have bothered to convert the US crochet hook size to UK/Aus. My hook was way too big and I was having to punch it through with every cluster. Highly recommend this for people who do bother with details. I'll be attempting it again with the proper materials.

Tutorial by the Purl Bee here

His first outing (other than the doctors) at 15 days old- a picnic in the park. He slept through most of it. This little lad doesn't have a name yet but answers (somewhat) to "little fluff", "Baby" and "fluffy chops". It may just be me calling him anything with fluff in it though. His siblings call him Baby and love him within an inch of his life. They want to hold him all the time and when left until last Olivia pouts and says "but I haven't had a turn!" like they are playing Wii or on the trampoline!

    1. Glad you agree. He also gets "whingy fluff" when being disagreeable!

Our neighbour's kids started calling their new baby brother Franklins - NO name ! the parents called him Harrison pretty soon after.

    1. Haha that's great! He would have to be "Black and Gold" or "Smart Buy" here. Franklins works a lot better.
